The Man below is Robert Key, UK Member of Parliament for Salisbury, Wiltshire who visited an East Anglian GM sugar beet trial in July 2002.

It is easy to see the difference between the weeds present within the GM trial, and the absence of weeds in the non-GM equivalent. This is one of the environmental benefits formally identified in an article by Pidgeon, J. D., Dewar, A. M. & May, M. J. (2001).
