There
is a substantial review on the environmental benefits of genetically
modified crops in the Journal of Animal and Feed Sciences, 2002. Vol.11,
pages 1-18. The authors R. H. Phipps and J. R. Park from the Centre
for Dairy Research at The University of Reading have looked at theoretical
and actual reductions in pesticide use since the introduction of GM
crops.
